Description
This is a ONE OF A KIND pen once it is sold it is gone, each painting will be different!
Victoria Vialpando is a deeply spiritual Native American artist who draws on her ancestral Apache heritage to influence her work. Victoria uses an airbrush to create the back drop for her work. She then hand paints her work on the brass tubes using 000 paint brushes which are extremely fine paint brushes. She has to use this type of brush because of the detail that is incorporated in her famous Wolves which is her spirit animal.
Once the pen tubes are painted and sealed, master pen maker Barry Gross coats the painted tubes with a non-yellowing polyester acrylic over a three day period. He then turns the assembly on a lathe and matches it with the pen components.
These stylish one-of-a-kind hand painted fine writing instruments truly reveal the love of nature and its bountiful gifts. The pen comes in a wooden box and if a rollerball is your selection, it will utilize a "Schmidt Style" rollerball refill which is readily available at any stationary store. If you are choosing a fountain pen, cartridges or a converter may be used. However, these refills and fountain pen ink is available in the Pens Accessories & Supplies section of this website.
