Description
Hundreds of individual abalone shell pieces are adhered to hand painted tubes. Once the tubes are dry, they are placed into a mold and polyester acrylic is poured into the mold over a three day period. After the assemblies are dry, they are placed on a lathe, turned and polished to exact specifications so the pen components will fit into them.
The finished product fits in your hand well and is a very comfortable writing instrument.

The pen utilizes a "Parker Style" refill which is readily available at any stationary store. Parker style refills are available in the Pens Accessories & Supplies section of this website.
